It’s back-to-school season, and we’ve kept busy assisting our school district clients as they prep their websites for another great year!
To celebrate the season, we wanted to highlight two of our newer product launches that can help districts better communicate with their staff members parents, and students in the coming school year.
Apps
We’ve launched two school district apps, one for Cardinal Community School District and one for Lisbon Community School District, and have another coming soon. Our apps are powered by Neapolitan Labs for Education, just like our district websites. This eliminates any dual work, bringing a district website’s school news, staff directory, and events directly into the app.
The app provides a convenient way for parents and staff members to access key information. In addition, district staff can send push notifications to app users to notify them of snow days, schedule changes, and other announcements.

Counseling
One of our newest Neapolitan Labs for Education features allows school counselors to set up landing pages on their district sites that detail the services they offer. Through our Departments and Services modules, counselors can set up a landing page with their contact details and general information. They can then set up pages for each service offered, such as referrals, programs, scholarship listings, career exploration, and more.
One of our key features includes a Scholarship module that brings in a clean and easy-to-browse list of scholarships students can apply to. Counselors can include as many or as few details as they’d like with options to fill out fields for deadlines, application links or uploads, quantity available, descriptions, and the amount. Categories can also be added to indicate local, state, and national scholarships.
In addition to our built-in counseling features, we’ve also created convenient online forms for Cardinal CSD’s counseling section to capture referrals, transcript requests, and community service hours.
We hope this makes it easier than ever for counselors to provide their valuable services for their students.
