Just in time for the November 2 City/School Election, we launched a new feature for Woodbury County Elections’ website!

Residents can now find their polling location and view a sample ballot with the site’s new “Where Do I Vote?” tool. The tool includes three simple steps for voters:

1

Begin typing your city name or zip code and then select your zip code and city from a dropdown list (narrowing down your options with autocomplete technology).
2

Begin typing in your address and then select it from another autocomplete dropdown list.
3

View your voting details based on your address, including your sample ballot for the upcoming City/School Election, and an embedded map of your polling location.

It was important to us to provide residents with a convenient way to look up their polling location and find their sample ballot. We hope this new tool makes it easier for residents to be prepared for the City/School Election.

Pat GillWoodbury County Auditor

We are so glad Pat came to us with this idea in time for the upcoming election. Thank you to our team members for creating the tool in record time to make it available to Woodbury County residents.

“This feature brings so much value to voters, and we are eager to replicate it for other counties.” Brian McMillin, Neapolitan Labs president, says.

If you’d like to implement the feature on your elections website, please reach out to us as soon as possible to get it in place for the November 2 City/School Election.
