For the last couple of months, our team has worked with Area 15 Regional Planning Commission (RPC) to provide digital marketing assistance for local businesses in their region.
It’s been a delight to work with these businesses that provide high-quality services and products for their communities. So far, we’ve launched new, modern websites for Busy Bee Daycare Center, Olive Tree Family Resources, North Creek Antiques, and Wells Hometown Drug.
In Oskaloosa, Iowa, Belinda runs Busy Bee Daycare Center, an affordable and flexible daycare option for children 4-weeks to 12-years-old. We worked with Belinda to create a website that showcases her selling points, allows parents to fill out needed forms, and answers frequently asked questions. We also had the pleasure of updating her logo, making it clean and modern.
”The website is wonderful and has made things so much easier. Our parents can find our forms and fill out paperwork from home. It's been great to have our Busy Bee name out in the public.Belinda RamirezOwner of Busy Bee Daycare Center
Also located in Oskaloosa, Olive Tree Family Resources is a nonprofit working to support, educate, and equip families within their community. We worked with founder and president Paula Falconer to create a website, MailChimp newsletter template, and Facebook page for the organization. The new site gives Paula a platform to share resources with families and ask for support from the community. Her newsletter and Facebook page will assist her in spreading the organization’s mission and bring awareness to the cause.
”I personally think Brian, Kimber, and Ashley are my lifesavers. They took my ideas and made them better than I expected. Olive Tree Family Resources website, Facebook page, and newsletter looks professional and amazing. I will continue to work with them in the future.Paula FalconerFounder & President of Olive Tree Family Resources
In Pella, Iowa, Steph gives old items a new purpose at her antique store that inspires shoppers to bring together both the old and the new. For Steph, we created a website that matches the aesthetic of her store: warm and loving. The new website provides her a platform to tell her story, describe the style of her products, and share her store location and business hours with potential customers.
In addition to their website, we provided North Creek Antiques with social media best practices for Facebook and Instagram.
In Bloomfield, Iowa, Mylo gives back to his community through his independent pharmacy that emphasizes customer service. For Mylo, we created a website that details the pharmacy’s products and services, introduces staff members, and makes it easy for new and returning customers to fill out forms and contact the store.
Area 15 RPC Digital Marketing Assistance
Area 15 RPC provides funds for local businesses in their region thanks to funding received under the CARES Act through the U.S. Department of Commerce in July 2020. With economic development partners in their six-county region, Area 15 RPC created a new program to specifically help small businesses with digital marketing, including website development, social media strategies, photography, and more.
The program’s funding is available until June 2022 or until funds are exhausted. To learn more, call (641) 684-6551 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
