In February 2019, we collaborated with the Auditor’s Office in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, to launch an elections-specific website. The site became a destination for local voters and candidates to find information on registering to vote, past election results, and elected officials from the township to the federal level. We’ve expanded our relationship with more auditors across the state, now powering election websites in 11 Iowa counties.

In March of this year, we began a project with the statewide Iowa State Association of County Auditors to redevelop their existing website. Information introducing the organization and outlining the duties and responsibilities of auditors was largely accurate, but many of the individual auditor listings were outdated, and the site design did not translate well on mobile devices.

We worked with the group’s eight-member website committee to create a fresh design and organization for the website. We made the homepage map interactive so residents could easily find information about their county’s Auditor. A new Meet Our Auditors section was built to cycle through the state’s auditors and bring in photos of some of Iowa’s great county courthouses. And, the Neapolitan Labs team reached out with individual emails to each Auditor’s Office to ensure their individual pages were up-to-date.

The new Iowa State Association of County Auditors website launched June 29, 2020.

The website is powered by our powerful and proprietary Mint Chip Lab platform, which features custom modules built specifically for Iowa auditors to manage and maintain website listings and content. We’re thankful the ISACA organization chose to work with Neapolitan Labs to redevelop and enhance their online presence. We encourage everyone to spend a few minutes perusing their new website to see the changes first-hand!

Neapolitan Labs was great to work with! They were quick to respond to any questions and the new ISACA website is a huge improvement from the old one.
