2024 was another exciting year for all of us at Neapolitan Labs! From milestones to favorite moments (hint: capybara!), take a look at the highlights of our year below.
24

websites launched

In 2024, we proudly launched 24 websites across a wide range of industries, including county governments, tourism and economic development organizations, individual county departments, healthcare providers, school districts, associations, and small businesses. Notably, four of the launches were full redesigns for some of our earliest clients, including the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau and Pottawattamie County. We’re deeply grateful they continued to trust Neapolitan Labs, and we enjoyed the challenge of modernizing earlier designs and building upon features and functionality.

200,000+

ad clicks back to client websites

Whether it was a curious click on a Facebook ad, a purposeful Google search, or a return visit sparked by a retargeting campaign, we’re thankful for every click that brought visitors to our client websites. This year, we launched ad campaigns promoting a variety of clients, from education to tourism to healthcare.

8,000+

Asana (project management) tasks completed

With a growing client list and expanding product offerings, efficient project management has become essential for our team to keep track of requests, tickets, and project or campaign timelines. Over the years, we’ve refined our project management processes and look forward to continuing to do so in 2025. We’re thankful to all of our incredible team members for completing those 8,000+ tasks and keeping us on track! Here’s to plenty more Asana celebration creatures in the future.

10

conferences attended

Conferences are one of our favorite ways to connect with current clients, showcase our services, and build new relationships. This year, we attended 10 conferences, including events hosted by the National Association of Counties, Iowa State Association of Counties, Iowa State Association of County Auditors, Travel Iowa, Iowa Travel Industry Partners, Iowa Counties Information Technology, Iowa League of Cities, and the Association of Minnesota Counties. We are already looking forward to another exciting year of conferences and events in 2025!

2

county government websites launched in new states

2024 marked an exciting milestone for us with the launch of two county government websites outside Iowa: one for Houston County, Alabama, and another for Goodhue County, Minnesota. These were our first out-of-state county government projects, and we’re eager to continue growing our footprint in both states and beyond!

Additionally, we had the privilege of launching websites for the Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and Moondog Pub & Grub in Georgia, as well as Tarpon Powder Coating in Florida.

1

team summit to Tampa, Florida

To coincide with the National Association of Counties Annual Conference, the Neapolitan Labs team held their 2024 annual summit in sunny Tampa. In addition to attending the conference, we had our annual business meeting, reviewing the prior fiscal year and looking ahead to the future. The summit wasn’t all business, though — it included plenty of summer fun for our team with time at the beach, friendly rounds of Top Golf, a sunset cruise, and an exciting visit to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (psst… keep scrolling!).

3

baby capybaras fed at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium

An unforgettable highlight of our visit to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium was participating in an Animal Care Experience, where our team had the incredible opportunity to interact with playful baby capybaras! They eagerly let us gently pet and feed them — though one mischievous capybara did make an attempt to snack on a team member’s hair!

2024 was a record-breaking year for us at Neapolitan Labs, and I’m thrilled to carry this momentum into 2025. We’re deeply grateful to our clients for trusting us with their website development needs and for continuing to partner with us on impactful projects and campaigns. As we look ahead, we’re committed to continually improving our products and services, while developing new solutions to make our clients' jobs easier.
